5 stars (out of five)*****

I have seen this book a lot in my travels and it seem to always pop up everywhere( I guess that is why it is a bestseller) So I gave in and pick up the book at the library.( I do not by many book because I use my library system and I really like then I will buy it.)

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho is a very short book only 208 pages. So it will take you no time to finish it, but once you start the book then you will not want to stop reading it and you will wish that the book was longer. This is a great book and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. This has become one of my all time favorite book. The Alchemist is a book that is not only a story but a guild line to “finding your personal legend”.

Plot Summary :( may contain spoilers) It is about a boy who is a shepherd from his homeland Spain. Has a haunting dream that explains a great treasure for his to find in Egypt by the Pyramids. So he is convinced by a man who calls himself King to go find his personal legend (treasure) and to find the Alchemist. The shepherd boy sells his lambs and beings his journey along the way he learn plenty of life’s lesson.

Boy I started write the summary and found that I was tell the whole book. So I took out 3 paragraphs for just the one. That just show how much I really enjoyed the book. This book is like a motivation story. The Alchemist many message is “find your personal legend” This could mean many thing to everyone. What it means to me is I have not a clue but I will have to give some serious thought.

I would give this book: five stars (out of five)*****what a book to start my review on.

When I would recommend reading this book: anytime (and also to reread the book)
I would recommend to: buy this book
