This is the fourth part of Last apprentice series. Tom is a little older and a little wiser. But this time he has to face the once enemies witch clans. Tom's mission is to stop the clan from open boxes that Tom's mam left him. Also to stop them from bring the fiend to earth and let him free. This also has the show Tom in three way love triangle. Another witch and Alice are fighting for Tom. This is a very good book to read. I really like how this Author (Joseph Delaney). His writing is very easy to read. The best part is he write quickly this book was released the start of summer in the US and the next book will be coming out at the end of the summer. Joseph really know that there is too many good series out there so he wants you to keep you interested so he release them quickly. Not like the Harry Potter series or the Ergon series. It just seems too long to wait, I forget what has happen before.
